Consider your website as your digital representative. It can be your first contact with potential customers, donors and volunteers, and it can make that first impression on the community and media.

Your website should be your organization’s digital champion.

Champion Checklist

If you already own a website, take a moment to answer the following questions:

  • Does the design enhance my organization’s mission and purpose?
  • Does the website inspire visitors to share their time and/or money supporting our mission (or buying our products)?
  • Is the website easy to navigate, and can I find information easily?
  • Does the website encourage visitors to return often? Is content updated frequently?
  • Does the website encourage visitors to connect using popular social media, such as Facebook?

If you answered “no” to any of the questions, consider re-evaluating how your organization uses its website.
